Really wanted to love this place. Ordered 1 Rookie 1 plain waffle with maple syrup 1 16 oz cold brew with vanilla and cream 1 20 oz depth charge with an extra shot Received 1 rookie, no fork 1 plain waffle no syrup 1 16 oz cold brew with only vanilla 1 16 oz depth charge 25 3 mistakes, and was hungry one hour later. For the price I was hoping for extra large waffles, but these were normal size. They texture and taste were very good, service was quick. However there was only one bottle of communal syrup for the entire restaurant and they didn’t have hot sauce. Also if you ordered the rookie you could have sour cream or ketchup if you wanted both it was a dollar extra. I felt bad of the teens running the shop, they seemed flustered and were trying their best. Hopefully they figure the kinks out! Edit : I’ve been back a few times since this initial review every time the customer service has been extremely friendly. The service has been quick and the waffles have been excellent. They have enough syrup for everyone and the waffles are still delicious. I’m so glad this place is succeeding and we have something fun like this!
Just in case you are in Great Plains, USA, stop by this charming cafe. My stylist recommended getting half strawberry cheesecake waffle and half chicken & waffle with a Pistachio latte! It was absolutely delicious! I had to take half with me because I couldn't finish it all. LOL
All of the waffles were amazing! We went with 6 EXTREMELY picky children and they all found something that they really liked. The staff was very patient with us when we ordered and nice. The homemade whipped cream was divine. I will definitely be going here every time I'm in town. The atmosphere is very inviting and they have a kids play area in the back which is awesome. 10/10 recommend. I forgot to take pics when I first got my waffles but they were beautiful.

Waffles were light and fluffy. Great toppings that weren't too sweet like some other breakfast places are. Good coffee and chai tea. Definitely planning to stop back when we're in town.

This is my favorite place in Mandan, amazing service, delicious coffee, and the best waffles I've ever had in my entire life. Everything is reasonably priced, the staff are friendly and have great service, the atmosphere is comfortable and very nice, and they even have a map where you can pin your hometown. Absolute must go!
So DELICIOUS! Very chill atmosphere, and friendly staff! Good variety of waffles both sweet and savory! We tried the Rookie and the Slow Roller, both very tasty and filling. Highly recommend you try it out!
